Why this means so much to me

A big part of why I do this is personal.

I had a Great Dane growing up, and I only have one photo of the two of us together before she got sick and we had to be without her. I know firsthand how quickly those images can become everything.

That experience stayed with me.

It is a big reason I care so deeply about creating meaningful portraits for other dog lovers now, because our dogs are only here for part of our lives, but for them, we are their whole world.

They deserve to be remembered well.
